1. Quotes & estimates
All quotes provided by JS & VS Carpentry are based on the information supplied at the time. Quotes are valid for a stated period and may be revised if the scope of work changes, or if site conditions differ from what was described.
2. Scope of work
The scope of work, materials, and pricing will be confirmed in writing before work begins. Any additional or varied work requested during the project will be agreed with you before being carried out.
3. Approvals & compliance
Where council approvals, Complying Development Certificates (CDCs), or other permits are required, the client is responsible for obtaining them. We provide advice and work closely with certifiers to ensure the work complies with relevant building standards.
4. Payment
Payment terms are agreed at quotation stage and are typically scheduled around project milestones. Invoices are payable in accordance with the agreed terms.
5. Workmanship warranty
We stand behind our workmanship. Any defects arising from our installation will be rectified promptly in line with our warranty terms and applicable consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Site access & conditions
The client agrees to provide reasonable site access and safe working conditions. We will notify you of any site conditions that affect the works.
7. Insurance & safety
JS & VS Carpentry is fully licensed and insured. We maintain a safe work environment on every site and comply with applicable WHS obligations.
